Welcome to the creative world of Lorraine Page, a dedicated business owner and designer, rooted deeply in the heart of Texas. Born and raised in Texas, Lorraine has proudly established her thriving design business in the vibrant city of Austin.

Lorraine's journey into design began with her training as an architectural designer. With a diverse background that spans across residential, retail, restaurant, office, and mixed-use development, Lorraine brings a rich tapestry of experiences to every project. It was through these varied experiences that she discovered her true calling – interior design.

What started as a part-time pursuit quickly blossomed into a full-time passion, leading to the birth of Lorraine Page Design LLC. Her expertise in architectural design and project management, combined with her knack for coordinating with architects, engineers, contractors, and suppliers, ensures an unparalleled level of detail and harmony in each interior design project she undertakes. Her keen eye, honed through her experience in construction administration, offers invaluable insights into the selection and oversight of finish materials, fixtures, and cabinetry.

Lorraine's academic foundation is as impressive as her professional one. A graduate of Texas A&M University, she earned a Bachelor of Environmental Design, which laid the groundwork for her illustrious career. Her move to Austin 20 years ago was prompted by an opportunity at a esteemed local architecture firm, marking the start of an incredible journey in this dynamic city.

While studying at Texas A&M, Lorraine had the opportunity to explore architecture abroad, igniting a lifelong passion for travel. Her adventures in Spain, Italy, The Netherlands, and Germany have not only fueled her wanderlust but have also profoundly influenced her design aesthetic. Each journey brings fresh inspiration, weaving a global perspective into her work.

Today, Lorraine continues to draw inspiration from her travels and her Texan roots. She resides in the greater Austin area with her family, constantly dreaming up her next travel adventure and design innovation.

Design Tools

  • Mood Boards

    We utilize mood boards as an effective way to visualize a design concept for our clients. Mood boards can capture style with colors, finishes, furniture, lighting, art, or accessories that will work together cohesively. This allows the designer to gain feedback from clients to ensue the designer and client are aligned with the design direction. A mood board is not the finalized design plan, instead a preliminary design concept.

  • Floor Plans

    Producing Floor Plans with computer aided drafting (CAD) ensures we are designing to scale, spatially planning for accurate furniture dimensions, clearances, and optimal foot traffic flow. For kitchens and bathrooms, floor plans are necessary for laying out fixtures, cabinetry, and appliances. Detailing floors and ceilings ensure contractors can accurately install finishes while maintaining the design integrity.

  • Interior Elevations

    When designing a space, interior wall elevations bring a floor plan to life, designing in 2 dimensions. In addition to aiding the design process, elevations also help contractors and clients better understand placement of interior walls, windows, built-in cabinetry, millwork, and capture how furniture and wall accessories layer a space.
